Race of the colour blind; human

Social inoculation
to create ramifications
from the heart of manipulation.
The birth of counter intuitive
stratification
named by words of no
disambiguation
highlighted by the injustice
in rainbow coloured segregation.
Stand at attention
and salute the fear of
integration
at ease
and respect the death of
celebration.
Human boundaries
drawn out in the circle of sets
A union B
thrown out the equation
they don't quite fit the preset.
So the coloured ones
with twists and curls
run perms and gels
and the other; cooks in the sun,
adopts a child from Africa
and so you see
suddenly we're one,
- and still stereotyped
to appear and act a certain way.
I once heard the patient ask
if the low faded doctor
made a good janitor
and when he took Lizzie home
The first question she go'n ask
"da f*! dat cracker doin' up in 'ere?"
She ain't even seen her yet,
she darker than the night itself.
Lest I forget,
the beautiful fruits
of the union of two worlds apart
yet no place for their kind
geographically separated
and divided by patented stereotypes
How shall we command respect?
African-,American or not
it's a one word root
Africa.
Brown, black, purple and green
All beautiful eyes
under one sky,
and sat in one world,
Segregation is no joke
it makes our world choke.
There is only one race
and that's the Human.
